Assisting

Hey!

Lets just get to the point. I assisted a surgery last week. I'm really not interested in surgery, so I had no excited feelings whatsoever. I'm also rubbish at scrubbing up. It took me 3 different operations to actually get the hang of it.

I didn't realise the aseptic technique was SO TEDIOUS.

The anaesthetist was kinda humoured looking at me fastening my own scrub gown (you're not supposed to fasten your own scrub gown. Front part, yes. Back part, BIG no no). And the nurse said, "Go scrub again!"

Pfffffft

Well I don't dream of doing surgery anyway. They're for people who can stand for hours, and have the joy of cutting people up. Certainly not my cup of tea. Boo.

Anyway, got my name written down on the operation note.

Yeah, they never spell my name right. Its just too fancy for them.

Anyway, that was all about the unceremonious surgery. Another fact of my life today is that I was betrayed. Must have been going on for quite some time. I only had the chance to know today. "Sepandai-pandai tupai melompat, akan jatuh ke tanah juga". It will never be the same again.
