I'm a fanatic when it comes to cupcakes. Hummingbird bakery makes THE MOST SPECTACULAR cupcakes, owing the fact that I went through snow and rain just to get ahold of their red velvets. Or in my case, I bought a whole 6 inch red velvet cake just to satisfy my nafsu makan. Also coz it was my birthday. Haha.

HEAVEN ON EARTH
Apparently, Hummingbird seems to know my fetish for their cupcakes, therefore in honour of the new VAT increase, they decided to 'up' the price of a single cupcake from 1.75 pounds to 2.25 pounds...
ABSURRRRRD
You cannot imagine the shock I received when the smiling salesperson packed up my red velvets and cashed in the amount. "That would be 13.50 pounds please."

I was literally like this. Only 1000000 x much cuter.
Hence, from that day onwards, I decided to boycott Hummingbird (lol) and make MY OWN CUPCAKES. MUAHAHAHA. Kan dah hilang sorang loyal customer. Padan muka hang.
Anyhoo, on one fine day last month, I googled up Hummingbird's secret recipe and walla! I found it online. Then, I started to bake.

Loads and loads of red food colouring was used, I swear I'm gonna poo red stool

And now for the cream cheese frosting!

This was my first time baking cupcakes so I didn't have the cupcake holder :(

The icing was so amateur, so ignore that. Focus on the taste! Hehehehehehe
I was so proud of myself, I had to say that I'm no longer gonna buy them from Hummingbird coz mine taste just like 'em. HAHAHA *angkat bakul naik lif* And I just had to pose my cupcakes around!
